We are Robyn & Abbey, the mother-daughter duo, and the heart behind CORABE.
The name 'CORABE' (cor-ahh-bee) is a reflection of us, a blend of our family’s initials, forming a word that feels as unique as the treasures we curate. It’s more than just a name; it’s a symbol of our journey, creativity, and passion.
Our love for interiors, travel, and fashion has always been part of our story. Robyn, with her deep love for transforming spaces, has spent years renovating and styling homes. Abbey grew up surrounded by this, naturally falling in love with the process and creating her own vision through home renovations. Over time, our shared love for curating beautiful pieces, whether through design, travel, or the stories behind them, has brought us to where we are today.
CORABE has a deep appreciation for the artistry of furniture and décor. From exploring the world for unique finds to bringing them home and giving them new life, we’ve come to understand the power of these pieces to transform not just spaces, but the way we feel in our spaces.
In 2021, we officially launched CORABE, bringing our vision to life with an online store and a warehouse in Queanbeyan, NSW. But it wasn’t until 2022, after a sea-change to the beautiful South Coast of NSW, that we opened our first store in Batemans Bay, a place that truly inspires us with its calming, coastal beauty.
We’ve carefully curated a collection of one-of-a-kind vintage and upcycled furniture from Northern India. Each piece tells a story of craftsmanship, history, and transformation. From these pieces, we hope to inspire resort-style living and the feeling of a holiday at home, every day.
